Alert system The system alerts is a wireless alarm system that, in its basic configuration, consists of three monitoring panels and up to forty boxes. More complex systems could be formed by combining a number of basic configurations.
Monitor panels are located in control rooms, have 80 LEDs, connected to power supply and to a PC. On the monitor module, there are two types of LEDs: yellow - to indicate the presence of the alert box, and red - for alarm. Monitor module consists of a microprocessor controller which controls the operation of these diodes and communicates with the PC, ZigBee module and power supply.
Signal boxes are associated to workplaces (numbered from 1 up to 40) and connected to power supply. They have 3 switches, one for each type of alarm. LEDs are assigned to switches, and they visually present selection of switches state. When a switch is turned on, LED is on, otherwise it is turned off. When there is a need for reporting, the worker turns on an appropriate switch, which causes appropriate monitor panel turns red LED on which corresponds to alert box that generated the alarm.
Each monitor module is set to display only one of three possible types of alarm.

UPS Monitoring Device SDD ITG has designed and developed Monitoring device for the UPS.
Device is designed for companies that have wide computer networks and numerous remote locations with installed UPSs and want to monitor their work. Module informs company if power is off on any of key points or if UPS battery drops on 10%. Device provides information about exceeding energy consumption. If some of the devices uses too much electricity due to a malfunction, company will be alerted about critical event and will be able to react accordingly.
Safe railway crossing Control device for the crossings of the road and rail ways in same level SDD ITG has developed a new product – control device for railway crossings. Device can conclude if the part of the rail way under its control is free or occupied, based on the information sent by the axle counter, special device mounted on the rails. When the segment is occupied, road crossing is turning on, meaning barriers are falling down, light signals on the road and rail semaphors are blinking and sound signal is on (bell). When the segment is free again, device is turning off - meaning barriers are being lift up and the audio-visual signals are turned off.
Developed system is designed according to the most demanding security and reliability standards.
Innovation in the Field of Mobile Phone Content Distribution Because of the wide use among different consumer groups and advanced technology, mobile phone has become one of the most important and the most used communication medium. On the other side, modern marketing stresses out necessity of personalization of promotional contents and personalization of the product itself.
SDD ITG has developed a prototype of device for distribution of the contents for mobile phones, which exploits both advantages of mobile technology and personalization provided by RFID technology. Use is simple – by placing an ID card in front of one of the devices installed on public places, a user, who previously bought an ID card, with credit in it, on one of the sales points, will be able to download desired content on his mobile phone.
Device is portable and stand-alone. It is equiped with RFID reader which enables personalized communication and charging. Communication with mobile phone is based on the bluetooth technology. Application possibilities are limited only by imagination of the creator: distribution of service information, advertising and personalized promotion, distribution of multimedia content, pervasive games etc.
SDD ITG has handed in an application for the patent registration, and we are looking forward to incorporate this interesting innovation into our portfolio.
Industrial Cabinet Access Control By implementation of well known RFID access control principles, we have developed alarm controller for access control for industrial cabinets.
Device detects opening of the cabinet’s door, leaving certain period of time for a user/serviceperson to authenticate using his/her RFID card on the RFID reader, integrated into the controller. Controller verifies user’s access rights and based on the result of verification activates the alarm, if necessary, by sending SMS or email message. Controller reports on each of the following events: opening/closing of the cabinet door, successful/unsuccessful authorization attempt, alarm mode started/ended. Device can be accessed remotely, over the user’s IP infrastructure.
