Medical Tubes Marking and Identification System

SDD ITG has developed a unique and novel way of marking and locating medical tubes within a cassette or rack arrangement. This is achieved by implementing an RFID Tag on each tube, which allows fast and unmistakable identification of each the medical tube. It is not necessary to glue paper labels written by hand or marked by barcodes. Handwriting is sometimes hard to read, and the barcodes can easily be destroyed and impossible to be read. All needed data are written on the RFID transponder, and can be readout when the medical tube is in cassette, or each medical tube can be individually read with handy RFID reader connected to a PC. This system allows quick and precise identification of medical tubes so that they can be located on cassette with 100 tubes, within 1 second.
