Pervasive Game Controller

SDD ITG has developed a prototype of device for distribution of the contents for mobile phones, which exploits both advantages of mobile technology and personalization provided by RFID technology.

Use is simple – by placing an ID card in front of one of the devices installed on public places, a user, who previously bought an ID card, with credit in it, on one of the sales points, will be able to download desired content on his mobile phone.

UPS Device Controller

SDD ITG has designed and developed Monitoring device for the UPS.

Device is designed for companies that have wide computer networks and numerous remote locations with installed UPSs and want to monitor their work. Module informs company if power is off on any of key points or if UPS battery drops on 10%.
Device provides information about exceeding energy consumption. If some of the devices uses too much electricity due to a malfunction, company will be alerted about critical event and will be able to react accordingly.

SDD ITG has developed an alarm controller dedicated to access control to industrial cabinets, based on RFID technology.

Working principle is simple. System detects opening of doors of the cabinet. It then leaves certain period of time for a user/serviceman to authenticate using his RFID card on the RFID reader, integrated into the controller. By default, user has 30 seconds to authenticate, but time can be set between 20 and 60 seconds.

When user’s card is detected, the data are sent and verified by the controller. Controller verifies user’s access rights and based on the result of verification it will activate the alarm, if necessary.

If user authenticates successfully, controller switches to authorized mode and user/serviceman can work freely for certain period of time (30 minutes by default).

Otherwise, if user doesn’t have right to access the protected content, controller will switch into the alarm mode and the sound alarm will be activated.

Alarm mode can be ended at any moment by placing valid ID card in front of the RFID reader. Also, closing of the door of the cabinet will end the alarm mode after one minute of time.

Communication with the controller is conducted over Ethernet and predefined IP address. Device has one IP address and two communication ports. One is used for setting of and readings data of the device itself from the device, and the other one for reading data about detected events.

Controller reports on each of the following events: opening/closing of the door, successful / unsuccessful authorization attempt, alarm mode started/ended.

Device provides information about exceeding energy consumption. If some of the devices uses too much electricity due to a malfunction, company will be alerted about critical event and will be able to react accordingly.

Module is managed through SNMP protocol, version 1.

Module monitors network voltage and measures electricity consumption. It also signalizes when the battery voltage is down to 10%. Temperature sensor mounted on the device monitors the temperature of the environment.

Devise is equipped with 8 relay inputs and 2 relay outputs.
It is capable of measuring two voltages in range of  0 – 250 V and intensity of two independent currents in range 0 – 3 A.

Device records all detected malfunctions into the internal flash memory. Readings of data from the flash memory is conducted over TCP/IP interface.
